2. Chirimen Handicraft Workshop
chirimen2.gifChirimen is a type of fabric that is weaved specially to create crepe on its surface. It is usually made of silk and is used to make kimonos. At this workshop, the participants will learn how to make a chirimen pouch.

Volunteer staffs are urgently needed for “Taihen Project in Malaysia”
Volunteer staffs are needed for “Taihen Project in Malaysia”, a theatre project featuring Malaysian and Japanese physically disabled performers, organized by The Actors Studio (TAS) and The Japan Foundation, Kuala Lumpur (JFKL). This production is directing by Ms. Kim Manri, the Artistic Director of the Theatre Troupe Taihen.
The volunteer period is from 26 March until 8 April 2007, for both rehearsals and performances.
