JICA would be connecting to Japan via video conferencing for 2 talks in relation to the above:

1. March 16 (Wed) 9.00AM ~ 3.00PM – Reviewing & Sharing Information on Indian Ocean Tsunami Disaster
* participants from invited countries give presentation on:
1) Summary of Damage
2) Government response to emergency rescue, relief stage
3) Challenges faced by the Government in recovery stage
4) Government Disaster Management structure

2. March 17 (Thu) 8.00AM ~ 9.00AM – Lecture by Prof. Fumihiko Imamura
(Tsunami Engineering Lab., Disaster Control Research Center, Graduate
School of Engineering, Tohoku University)
* Topic: Basis of tsunami phenomenon, review of measures taken

5 March 2005:
9am: Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Corus Hotel

2pm: Pre-Departure Briefing for Technical Group to Aichi Expo and Homestay in Nagoya. myJICA Office, Level 29 Menara Citibank, Jalan Ampang

8pm: Annual Dinner at Japanese Restaurant, Sogo Shopping Complex, Jalan Tunku Abd Rahman.
