DURING myJICA EXCO meeting last Saturday, we have chance to meet with new JICA staff (who have on the job training in Malaysia). One of them asking me “who is the most popular singer in Malaysia”?.

Actually I don’t know the exact answer. However based on the search from the Internet, I found out that Hikaru Utada is the most popular singer in Japan. He agreed and told me that Utada music is very unique and if I have a chance, please buy her CD to understand what he meant with it.

Since he confirm that Hiraku Utada is the most popular singer in Japan, then based on the same source, the most popular singer in Malaysia is Siti Nurhaliza I said.
