Hi members,

We meet again! Glad to announce that it’s time for another cultural programme. However instead of the usual Japanese cultures for our Malaysian members consumption, this time we’re offering Malaysian cultures to our Japanese counterparts. We’re having a Malaysian Traditional Dress Class with details below :

Date : Saturday 10th September 2005
Time : 9.00 am – 1.00 pm
Venue : Seminar Room, Corus Hotel, KL

Eventhough it’s meant more for our Japanese friends, this will be a good opportunity for us to get acquainted with our much beloved cultures again. We’re hoping to get one of the renowned local designer, Salikin Sidek to deliver a talk on Malaysian Traditional Dress. We also hope to get a well known make up artist to give us some good tips on creating make up to go with the traditional dress. On top of that, we’ll also have a fashion show! Yes, it sounds very much for the ladies, but gentlemen are very much welcome. Who knows, you might get a tip or two from Salikin on how to dress to impress the ladies! Well folks, since seats are very much limited, please register your attendance with me at zalinda@sirim.my at the earliest possible opportunity.

If you missed this opportunity, don’t say you haven’t been warned. Look forward to see you there! Zalinda, Exco Japanese Culture
